Mythical Creatures

 


The Sphinx:

It is a mythological creature with a lion's body and human's head. It is believed that it asks men riddles and eat them if they don't answer.


Medusa:

She has head made up of snakes and also the ability to change people into stone if they dare to stare her in it's eyes.


Hydra:

Hydra is a giant monster that looks much like a water snake with multiple heads. If one of my heads is cut off, tow of them grow back in its place. Hercules defeated Hydra and buried it under a pile of rocks.



Pegasus:

Pegasus is a beautifuol winged horse and is the son of Posedion. It appears in myths from all over the world and have been the subject of many paintings. A constellation has been named after it.



Cyclops:

Cyclops name in Greek mythology means ' round eye '. I have only one eye that is in the middle of it's forehead. Cyclops also like eating human flesh.

A Treasure Trove 6,500m Below Sea Level

A US navy destroyer that was sunk during the World War  ll  and was found by an American exploration team. They stated that the destroyer was lying 6,500 Meters below the sea level.     The 115-Meter-long ship was sunk on October 25,1944 during the Battle of Leyte Gulf as US forces fought to liberate the Gulf as US forces fought the Philippines- then a US colony- from Japanese occupation. According to the US navy records, only 141 of the ship's 327 crew survived. Sonar data, imagery and field notes collected during the dives would be returen over to the US Navy, Vescovo said. 

Distinctive Prime Numbers Discovered By The Mathematicians

  In a new research , mathematicians have revealed new category of prime numbers " digitially delicate ". This infinitely long prime numbers turn back to composites faster than cindrella at midnight with a change of any individual digit.  These digitally delicate prime numbers have inumerous digits , and changing any digit to any other value bears a composite number outcome instead. To use a more simple example, consider 101 which is a prime number. Change the digits to 201 , 102 or 111 and you will have values that are divisible by three and therefore compound numbers.  But this idea was found to be decades old , so what did the mathematicians found new ?
