Smallest and largest river islands in the world.

It is interesting to know that both the world's largest and smallest river islands are situated in the Brahmaputra river in Assam. The smallest one is called UMANANDA (Also called Peacock Island) and the largest is known as MAJULI.

These islands attract visitors from every corner of the globe. Some people say that Lord Shiva created the Peacock island for his wife Parvati’s happiness. The island was also very popular for it's golden langurs, which is one of the most endangered primate species of India (The last one surviving is now reportedly dead).

The main attraction of the Umananda island is the Umananda Temple which was built in 1694CE  in the order of King Gadadhar Singha but was broken down by an earthquake in 1867.

Majuli is a river island in the Brahmaputra River, Assam and in 2016 it became the first island to be made a district in India. It is now being eroded at a very great speed.

Lost Cities

Tikal was an important capital city of the Mayan Kingdom. The site was occupied for more than 700 years.  Tikal National Park is located in Northern Guatemala's Petén Province within a large forest region often referred to as the Maya Forest, which extends into neighbouring Mexico and Belize. The Tikal Ruins, which was established in the years of 1950s, is the central attraction of the Tikal National Park. The site was abandoned by the 10th century after years of occupation. The ruins of Petra, which is famous for the stone structures built into the rocks, lie southwest of Jordan, on the edges of the the mountainous desert of the Wadi Araba. In 1812, the hidden site was revealed by the Swiss explorer Johann Ludwig Burckhardt. The site, described as 'a rose-red city half as old as time', became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985. The famous Indus Valley Civilization was the earliest known urban center in present-day Pakistan and western India. The traces of the Indus Valle...

Distinctive Prime Numbers Discovered By The Mathematicians

In a new research , mathematicians have revealed new category of prime numbers " digitially delicate ". This infinitely long prime numbers turn back to composites faster than cindrella at midnight with a change of any individual digit.  These digitally delicate prime numbers have inumerous digits , and changing any digit to any other value bears a composite number outcome instead. To use a more simple example, consider 101 which is a prime number. Change the digits to 201 , 102 or 111 and you will have values that are divisible by three and therefore compound numbers.  But this idea was found to be decades old , so what did the mathematicians found new ? The mathematicians from the University of South Carolina have established an even more specific niche of the digitally delicate primes: widely digitally delicate primes. These primes are added with infinite " leading zeros ", which don't change the original prime, but make a difference as the number of zeros a...

What Happened When India Asked For Help ?

In the difficult times of crisis when America turned off its head, Russia extended it's helping hand to India.  In the difficult times when there are shortage of oxygens in many parts of India and shortages of beds. Also a matter of concern : there is not much oxygen left, Delhi has reduced certain number of beds as the Doctors had said that there is no such oxygen supply to cure the patient's problems. This step was taken due to the death of 25 Covid patients in the Jaipur Golden Hospital , Delhi.  During this oxygen crisis, Russia has come front to help India in supplying oxygen. Some sources also proclaim that India is planning to buy  some oxygen concentrates and tanks from   Russia. If this idea gets the positive results then the    oxygen crisis would help India a lot during this time.
