The Forbidden City: It served as the palace for both Ming and Qing emperors and was built and successfully established in Beijjing by the Ming emperor Zhu Di, between 1406 and 1420. The palace was given such distinctive name because it was forbitten for the common people to come there, even , limited royal families were allowed to come. Most of the complex of this palace faces to the south to honour the sun.
